Every year, we see trillions of searches. Naver's search features ensure that you get the right information at the right time in the format that's most useful to your query. Sometimes it's a web page, and sometimes it's real-world information like a map or inventory at a local store. The trend in recent searches has expanded usability from finding answers to discovering and exploring interests. When examining search patterns, it's not uncommon to see users discovering results that better meet their needs through related information, not just results directly matching their search queries. We aim to provide content recommendations that reflect users' interests and preferences by incorporating their history and preferences. You can discover recommended content based on new topics, trends, and preferences.
Naver Search has been developed by giving prominence to attributions in the search results. Formerly situated at the content's bottom, it is now placed at the top, featuring a site or creator name, and favicon. The emphasis is on improving the visibility of creators who consistently produce high-quality content. These individuals, known as influencers or top creators, are carefully selected and supported to generate even more refined search results on Naver.
Since Naver Influencer Search was launched in 2020, we have consistently listed up user feedback and keep conducting usability tests and A/B tests.
Here are very meaningful numbers. we can see Influencer’s content consumption is consistently increasing over the year. Naver influencer search is an experimental and bold approach in terms of personalising the whole search result page. We keep seeking to provide the best results for individual users in a variety of ways.

In 2021, we presented our design and methodologies for Naver Influencer Search at Naver’s Design Colloquium. This annual conference serves as a platform for Naver's designers to share their insights and project knowledge. The main focus of the colloquium was "Insights and problem-solving processes of NAVER designers for various partners." I had the opportunity to participate as a speaker in the seminar session titled ''4.Design for Experts' Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event took place online, accommodating those who were unfamiliar with NAVER. The conference consisted of a recorded seminar session and a live talk session.
For those who do not know about NAVER.
Seminar Session

Following the project's launch, we conducted a retrospective meeting involving designers, project managers, and developers. This meeting allowed our organization or team to dedicate time to reflect on the current project. We closely walked through identified challenges, shared insights, and aimed to enhance our collective efficiency for the next phase. One of the retrospectives we utilized was based on Keep-Problem-Try(KPT).
